WHAT TO EXPECT
On your first Sunday, we ask that you enter through the main doors, right under the carport, where one of greeters will happily greet you.
As you enter our sanctuary go ahead, and find a seat wherever you’d like. We usually start our service with a worship song. During worship feel free to stand, or sit if you’re limited in mobility, whatever you prefer is fine!
During worship, our pastor will make a few announcements. Next we will sing a few more worship songs, and then the pastor will go into a time of prayer, and then his message. After the pastor is done with his message, we may have a closing song, then service will be dismissed.

We usually recommend around 10 Minutes before our worship service, which starts at 10:30am. This gives you a chance to meet the pastor and some of our regulars, then you can find a good seat!
Most people dress in casual-comfortable clothes. Some men dress in blue jeans, and a nice shirt, and others go all out with a suit and tie. We have women who dress in jeans, and blouses, and others like to get fancy and wear a nice dress. Kids and teens can wear anything from fancy clothes, to t-shirts and jeans.
SWC is a great place for families to grow in their faith together! We have something for all ages, including a nursery for infants 0 months – 3 years old. We also have a children’s Sunday School class for kids 4 years old through 5th grade, and a teen Sunday School class for 6th through 12th graders. We also offer childrens church, which is dismissed from the sanctuary halfway through the Sunday morning worship service. We recognize that being in a new space with your little ones can be intimidating, and we know we have to earn your trust with your precious cargo, so please feel free to keep the family together throughout the worship service.
