Pastoral Vote
June 22 10:30 am - 12:00 pm | Saginaw Wesleyan Church
The Local Board of Administration is recommending Wade Killinger as a candidate for the open Senior Pastor position. Wade will be preaching the message on Sunday, June 22nd, and we will proceed to vote following the service.
Wade Killinger wants everyone to know that while it is him we are voting on, his wife of 11 years, Denise, is an important part of the equation. They’re looking forward to serving somewhere together. Wade is currently a delivery driver for Gordon Food Service, this is something he’s been doing for over 20 years. He is on track to graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University in the fall of this year. He is currently licensed as a Wesleyan Pastor, academically cleared for ordination, and expecting to be recommended for ordination in 2026. He has been serving in some form of ministry since 1995, and was Lead Pastor of Conway Free Methodist Church from June 2008 – 2011.
Things Wade and Denise find important in ministry include pastoral care, holiness, outreach, and evangelism. They believe in shepherding and serving our community. Beyond ministry, Wade enjoys the Detroit Lions and Michigan State Spartans and Denise enjoys cooking and crafting.
There’s no way to share everything you’d need to know about them here, so be sure to stop by the Meet and Greet for a chance to get to know more about them.
